Marcos Llunas

The son of celebrated Spanish singer Dyango, Marcos Gómez Llunas aka Spanish pop singer-songwriter Marcos Llunas (born in Madrid on October 29, 1971) found his own place in the spotlight. The romantic 1993 debut single "Reconquistarte", featured on his debut self-titled album, became a hit across Hispanic America and topped the charts in Argentina, Mexico, Chile and Uruguay. For his second album, Piel a Piel, Llunas worked with respected Santander-born songwriter and producer Juan Carlos Calderón. In 1995, Llunas landed first prize at Mexico’s former annual singing competition, OTI Festival, and in 1997, he was picked to represent Spain at the 42nd Eurovision Song Contest, performing his own track “In Rencor”. 2012 saw Llunas pay homage to his father on album La Voz Del Alma: Marcos Llunas a Dyango, and in 2017 Llunas released his album Latinísimo.
