Mixed Emotions

Mixed Emotions were a German pop duo formed in 1986 by singer-songwriter Drafi Deutscher and vocalist Oliver Simon. They released two albums, 'Deep from the Heart' (1988) and 'Just for You' (1988) and singles such as 'You Want Love (Maria, Maria)', 'Sweetheart - Darlin' My Dear' and 'I Never Give Up' before breaking up in 1992. A compilation release, 'Best of Mixed Emotions', came out in 1990. They partnered again in 1999 for an album of mostly remakes titled 'We Belong Together' but split again right afterwards. Deutscher died aged 60 of heart failure in 2006 and Simon died aged 56 of brain cancer in 2013.
