Tanto Metro & Devonte

The Jamaican dancehall duo known as Tanto Metro & Devonte is comprised of DJ and producer Mark Wolfe and singer Wayne Passley respectively. The two men formed the band in 1996 in Kingston and enjoyed a series of hit singles between 1997 and 2002 along with three albums culminating with their 2006 release 'Musically Inclined'. The band remained dormant for a number of years until in 2013 they collaborated with legendary Jamaican producers Sly & Robbie and created the single 'Already Know'. The track was intended to be the lead single of a forthcoming album titled 'Request' but unfortunately the album never saw the light of day. In 2015 an album was released under the title 'Sly & Robbie Presents Tanto Metro and Devonte' and this Sly & Robbie album collaboration remains the most recent recording to date released by the duo.
