Tasha Holiday

Tasha Holiday made an impact on the US music industry in a relatively short space of time. After getting signed to America’s MCA Records – the precursor to Universal Music Group – in the 1990s, the Atlantic City-born contemporary R&B artist made a splash with her 1997 single, “Just the Way You Like It”, released when she was just 19. The track, which peaked at Number 93 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and in the top 30 of the Billboard R&B singles chart, was accompanied by a popular BET-approved music video. “Just the Way You Like It” was taken from Holiday’s debut album of the same name, which was also released in 1997. With production from Grammy Award winner Stevie J, Joe P and others, the album also contained the single “So Real, So Right” / “Just One Night”. Holiday went on to complete a series of collaborations and guest appearances over the following years, and in 2006 lent vocals to the track "Life So Real" (with Da Unknown) on the Lil' O album Neva Lay Down Vol. 1. 2011 saw her work with producer Mike Nitty on the digital single "I Used To Love You", with the pair teaming up again for 2014 collaborations “Stop Playin'” and "Can't Stop Runnin’".
