Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi

Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi is a Japanese pop singer from Kagoshima who first garnered attention when he appeared on the television talent show Yamaha Music Song Contest in 1976. Nagabuchi was born on September 7, 1956, in Hioki, Kagoshima. His debut album, Kaze Wa Minami Kara, came out in 1979, and he released many more releases during the subsequent decades. License (1987), Showa (1980), Jeep (1990), Japan (1991), and Captain of the Ship all topped Japan's Oricon Albums Chart. Other releases include Stay Alive (2012), Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi All Time Best 2014 (2014), and Black Train (2017). Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi All Time Best 2014 even returned to the Japanese charts in 2023, reaching number 88 nearly a decade after its original release. Meanwhile, Nagabuchi has also enjoyed success with hit singles like "Kiniro No Lion," "Close Your Eyes," and "Ashita He Tsuduku Michi." He has appeared on many Japanese television programmes and appeared in several movies.
