U-Know Yunho

Jung Yun-ho, popularly known as U-Know Yunho, is a South Korean singer and entertainer, born on February 6, 1986, in the city of Gwangju. He started his career by participating in dance competitions across the country and, after winning the 1st Annual SM Best Competition in 1999, officially signed with SM Entertainment in 2001. Adopting the stage name U-Know Yunho in 2003, he joined the group TVXQ alongside Max Changmin, Jaejoong, Park Yoo-chun, and Kim Jun-su, debuting with the hit single "Hug" and the album Tri-Angle in 2004. Their second album, Rising Sun (2005), led them to their first Daesang or Grand Award at the Mnet KM Music Festival. TVXQ continued their success with albums like Mirotic in 2008, featuring a best-selling title track, and also scored a Number 1 single in Japan with "Purple Line" the same year. Despite legal issues leading to the departure of three members in 2010, U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin carried on as a duo, setting sales and concert attendance records in Japan. U-Know Yunho's solo career began in 2015 with the Japanese EP U Know Y, followed by his first Korean-language solo album, True Colors, in 2019 and his second EP, Noir, in 2021. The next year saw the release of his second Japanese EP, You Go Ahead. Simultaneously, U-Know Yunho pursued acting, making his debut in the 2009 romantic comedy series Heading to the Ground and later starring in popular projects such as King of Ambition and Diary of a Night Watchman.
