By hosting the YouTube show "AwesomenessTV's Next Influencer" and organizing the content creation team Hype House, Alex Warren became a viral star of the social media generation. He then turned that success as an influencer into a burgeoning music career, releasing a series of singles with middling success before scoring a genuine hit in 2024 with "Before You Leave Me." Warren was born in Carlsbad, California, on September 11, 2000. He pursued skateboarding as a child and began posting content on Instagram as a teenager in May 2015. Extremely popular on platforms like YouTube and TikTok, his success as a content creator increased when he appeared on the Hype House, a Netflix show about a house filled with fellow TikTok stars. His debut single, "One More I Love You," was released independently in June 2021. One year later, Warren signed with Atlantic Records and made his major-label debut with "Headlights," which racked more nearly 75 million views on TikTok before its official release. Songs like "Give You Love" and "Change Your Mind" followed in 2023. Alex Warren then earned a hit on several European charts with "Before You Leave Me," which went to number 60 in Ireland, number 51 in the Netherlands, number 10 in Norway, and number 93 in the UK upon its release in 2024.
