ANGERME

Angerme is a Japanese idol girl group from the musical collective Hello! Project. Originally named S/mileage, they rebranded as Angerme in 2014, marking the transition to their third generation of members. Their debut single, "Taiki Bansei/Otome no Gyakushuu," released in 2015 from the album Taiki Bansei, shot them to number 2 on the Japanese charts, and the following years saw Angerme deliver a series of hit tracks, notably "Watashi wo Tsukuru no wa Watashi / Zenzen Okiagarenai Sunday" (2019) and "Ai Mashō / Hade ni Yacchai na! / Aisubekibeki Human Life" (2022), which both went to Number 1. Performing extensively throughout Japan over the years, the group continued their streak into 2023 with new album Big Love which secured the fourth position on both the Oricon and Billboard charts, releasing singles "Ai no Kedamono / Dōsōsei" and "Red Line / Life Is Beautiful!", which attained similar success.
