Claudinho e Buchecha were a funk duo from Brazil formed in 1995 by singers Claudio Rodrigues de Mattos and Claucirlei Jovênco de Sousa. Their eponymous debut album was a major hit in Brazil and they released four more studio albums: 'A Forma' (1997), 'Só Love' (1998), 'Destino' (2000) and 'Vamos Dançar' (2002). A concert album, 'Ao Vivo', came out in 1999 and they released compilations such as 'Gold' (2002) and 'Novo Millennium' (2005). Singles included 'Tempos Modernos' (1997), 'Quero Te Encontrar' (1997), 'Berreco' (2000) and 'Fico assim em você' (2002). De Mattos was killed in a car accident aged 26 in 2002.
