Colde

After starting off as one half of South Korean R&B duo Offonoff, Colde branched out to make music on his own. While the chilled out R&B sound of Offonoff remained present, Colde also incorporated elements of smooth hip-hop into his sound. Born Gim Hui-su in Seoul, Colde made his musical debut with Offonoff in 2016 when the duo released the single 'Bath'. They quickly established themselves outside of the K-pop mainstream thanks to their R&B sound. Colde soon began working on solo material in the same vein, adding a slightly harder rap-influenced sound and funk-inspired instrumentals to his debut EP 'Wave', released in 2018. The record made it to number 23 on the Gaon Chart and Colde followed up with 'Love Part 1' and 'Control Me' the following year.
