Derrick Hoh

Born on September 17, 1985 in Singapore, Mandopop singer-songwriter Derrick Hoh (何維健, He Weijian) rose to fame after being crowned the second runner-up in Channel U's talent competition, Project SuperStar, in 2005. After completing two years of national service, he re-entered the entertainment world with his debut album, Unclassified, in 2008, which was released in a variety of editions including Taiwanese and Malaysian. His sophomore effort came in 2010, Change, released on Warner Music Singapore and marking his first album in Mandarin. The 14-track LP's first title song was an adaptation of Aaron Kwok's "When I Know You Love Each Other" and the record was produced by Tang Da and Wu Jiaming. Another two albums followed, Forever (2014), and Lemon Tree (2015), as well as a string of singles, including 2020's "找到你". Derrick Hoh has received numerous awards over the course of his career, winning the Breakthrough Award at the 18th Singapore Hit Awards as well as picking up Singapore's Teens Role Model Award.
