Fair Warning

Fair Warning are a German hard rock band known for a melodic style; they were formed in 1991 by vocalist Tommy Heart, bassist Ule W. Ritgen, guitarists Helge Engelke and Andy Malecek and drummer Jurgen C.C. Behrens. Their upbeat, self-titled debut album led to a tour of Germany and appearances at festivals across Europe. A visit to Asia resulted in concert album 'Live in Japan' and they returned to that country to some acclaim with their album 'Rainmaker' proving popular. Two studio albums, 'Go' and 'Four', were released before the group disbanded in 2000. In 2005, however, they came back together for a fifth album titled 'Brother's Keeper', which was released the following year with the single 'Don't Keep Me Waiting'. Bassist Ritgen said that while the record was "the most powerful we have done so far... we managed to keep our melodic approach intact". Two more albums followed - 'Aura' in 2009 and 'Sundancer' in 2013, with the single 'Hit and Run'. Fair Warning toured again in Japan where earlier they released a DVD titled 'The Call of the East' and they made plans to appear at festivals in Germany and the UK with the addition of Niklas Turmann on guitar and Torsten Luederwaldt on keyboards for the live performances.
