Ferman Akgül

Born İbrahim Ferman Akgül on 25 December 1979 in Ankara, Ferman Akgül is a popular Turkish rock and pop singer and songwriter who began his solo career with the "İstemem Söz Sevmeni" single in 2016 after launching the record label 06 Records a year prior. Collaboration has played a key role in his musical journey, rising to fame as the lead singer of much-loved Turkish rock troupe maNga, who represented Turkey at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. He has also branched out into club music through his collaborative singles with Turkish DJ Birol "Beegee" Giray. 2016 saw the release of the "Dırdır" single featuring Pascal Nouma and his debut album Yürüyorum İçimde arrived the following year. In 2018, he dropped another collaborative single, "Efsaneyiz" featuring Fatma Turgu, and in 2020, "100 kere 23 Nisan" with İskender Paydaş and Nilüfer Children's Choir. He released the İbrahim Erkal-composed single "A Bebeğim" in 2023.
