Gabz

British pop star Gabz, born Gabrielle Gardiner on December 11, 1998, rose to fame as a contestant on the 2013 season of Britain’s Got Talent. For her audition, she went against the grain and performed an original song “The One”, that she wrote herself. The judges praised the performance and the composition, and she eventually reached the finals of the competition. In June of 2013 she released her debut single, “Lighters (The One)”, which went top 10 in the UK, Ireland, and Scotland. Her fusion of beats and melody led some to refer to her style as “hip-pop”. “Lie There” came out later that year, and in 2014 her single “Holiday in Brazil”, released to coincide with the World Cup competition being held in that country, helped raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She released her debut EP Up in 2016. 2018 saw the release of the single and video “Losing No Sleep”. That same year she joined the reality competition show All Together Now as a judge. She returned to music in 2020 with the single “No Consequences”.
