Jacky Wu is a familiar face in Taiwan; a television show host, singer and actor who holds court on a number of the country's variety shows, including the long-running favorite, Guess. Born Wu Tsung-hsien on September 26, 1962 in West Central District, Tainan, Wu started performing in 1987, cutting his teeth in cameo roles on variety shows, and honing his skills as a sharp-witted host.
