Jinyoung

South Korean singer, actor and songwriter Park Jin-young (known mononymously as Jinyoung, formerly Jr. and Junior) was born on September 22, 1994 in Jinhae, South Gyeongsang. He rose to fame through his acting debut in the popular series Dream High 2 in 2012, leading to several supporting and lead roles in film and television. However, music has always been his passion, seeing Jinyoung collaborating with Kang So-ra, 2AM's Jeong Jinwoon and Kim Ji-soo on the Dream High 2 soundtrack, releasing the hit song "We Are the B" which reached number 13 in South Korea. Jinyoung continued to gain recognition and popularity in the music industry, forming the highly acclaimed duo JJ Project with Jay B in the same year, making his debut with popular South Korean boy band Got7 in 2014, before launching his solo career in 2021 with the song "Dive" which peaked at number 12 on the U.S World Music charts. In 2022, Jinyoung contributed to the Princess Aya (film) soundtrack, performing "Hold Me", "Shining on Your Night" and "You Can Be Loved" featuring South Korean singer and songwriter Baek A-yeon. In 2023, he released his first solo EP, Chapter 0: With, peaking at number 9 on the Korean Charts with lead single "Cotton Candy" debuting at #66 in Malaysia.
