K-391

Kenneth Osberg Nilsen is better known as K-391, the Norwegian DJ and record producer who collaborated with Alan Walker on the hit single 'Ignite'. Nilsen started his career with the British label NoCopyrightSounds, through which he released his debut single featuring Cory Friesenhan, 'Dream of Something Sweet' in 2013. He spent three years with the label but it was after his departure in 2016 that his career really began to take off. In 2017 he collaborated with Alan Walker on the instrumental version of 'Ignite', releasing it through Sony Music and Walker's own label, Mer Musikk. It was the second version, however, that really made waves. The pair layered in vocals by Julie Bergan and South Korean singer Seungri and released the new version the following May through label Liquid State. This time out Ignite racked up 350 million streams across audio and video platforms in its first six months of release and topped the Norweigian singles chart. Since then Nilsen has collaborated with Walker multiple times. They worked with American singer Sofia Carson on 'Different World', with Emelie Hollow on 'Lily' and with Tungevaag and Mangoo on 'Play'. Nilsen also worked with Wyclef Jean on the track 'Mystery'.
