Kader Japonais

Born in Bab-El-Oued, Algiers, award-winning Algerian raï artist Abdel Kader Haiboui (Arabic: عبد القادر هيباوي; March 11, 1979), better known as Kader Japonais, (Arabic: كادير الجابوني or قادر جابوني), rose to fame in the 2000s with "Jibou la Brigade" and again in the 2010s with singles "Nti Sbabi" and "Waalach." He counts a number of successful albums among his repertoire, including 2013's Jorhi Ma Bra and 2017's Raki Nedmana, and in 2013 picked up an Algerian Music Award for Best Artist. He has continued to release singles at a steady rate over subsequent years, including 2020's collaborative single "El Walida" with Foufa Torino and Didine Canon 16 and 2021's "سبعة ارواح." and "Solitario." 2022 saw the release of a new Arabic pop single with DJ Sem, "Manimane."
