Singer Maëlle Pistoia studied piano and singing as a child and came to public attention as a contestant in the seventh series of 'The Voice France' which began in 2017. She emerged the winner the following year, becoming the first female and youngest ever contestant to win the competition. After the show, she was signed by Mercury Records and released her first single 'Toutes les Machines Ont un Couer' in 2019. The song was immediately popular online, with more than three million streams within the first few months of its release. It was followed by the release of singles 'Le Mot d'Absence', 'L'Effet de Masse' and 'Sur un Coup de Tête', all in 2019. The tracks all featured on her self-titled debut album released later in 2019.
