Marcos Yaroide

Marcos Yaroide is a singer-songwriter from the Dominican Republic, specializing in the Christian music genre. He was born Marcos Yaroide Mejia Rambalde on Octohber 7, 1975, in the city of Santo Domingo. He began his career as a member of the musical duo Tercer Cielo in the early 2000s, recording successful Christian songs such as “Cuando el Primer Amor Se Va,” “Hoy Te Permito Odiar,” and “El Rapto.” In 2006, Marcos Yaroide decided to pursue a career as a solo musician. He made his debut with the album Cielos Abiertos, which started to earn him acclaim as a solo performer. He followed this with Mi Mejor Alabanza (2008) and Del Cielo a la Tierra (2010), each album steadily increasing his profile in the United States as well as Central and South America. In 2012, Marcos Yaroide released the album Todavía Hay Esperanza, which featured the single “Por Una Como Ella,” which was remixed into a merengue version by Grupo Manía the following year. In 2015, he released the live album 15 Años Después Live, followed by the studio album La Vida Es in 2017. In 2020, Marcos Yaroide recorded “Si Tu Presencia Conmigo No Va,” a collaboration with Oasis Ministry. In 2022, he released his sixth solo studio album Tributo.
