Natalia

Natalia Rodríguez Gallego, popularly known as Natalia, is a Spanish singer born on December 11, 1982 in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cádiz. She stepped into the limelight as a contestant on the Spanish TV show Operación Triunfo in 2001, where she finished up in thirteenth place. Her breakthrough came with her 2002 album, No Soy un Ángel, featuring the chart-topping hit single, "Vas a Volverme Loca," a reimagined version of Charlotte Nielsen's "You Got Me Going Crazy." No Soy un Ángel peaked at Number 5 on the Spanish charts and was certified platinum shortly after. The following year, Natalia's creativity blossomed with her album Besa Mi Piel, where she showcased her songwriting talent with four original compositions, including the eponymous first single. In 2004, her third album, Natalia, brought a new sound, pivoting to rock music, with the Number 1 hit single "Sombras" and a cover of AC/DC's iconic "Highway to Hell." After a brief hiatus, she triumphed in the Spanish reality TV program Gente de Primera in 2005, returning stronger than ever. Her 2006 fourth album, Nada Es Lo Que Crees, reached Number 9 on the Spanish charts, with the first single, "Loco por Mí," topping the downloads chart. In 2007, Natalia embarked on a new journey with her album, Radikal, featuring the catchy hit "Rebelde en Libertad," which hit Number 2 on PROMUSICAE's singles chart. Over the next few years, Natalia issued a string of standalone singles that included "Libérate" (2010), "Indómita" (2011), "Nunca Digas No" (2013), and "Solo Tú" (2015), all of which appeared in her first greatest hits compilation, 2017's Un Poco de Mí. In 2021, Natalia released the Chenoa joint track "Lento," followed by "Fama" in 2022 and "Cien x Cien" a year later.
