Park Bo ram

Park Bo-ram (born on March 1, 1994 in Chuncheon, South Korea) is a South Korean singer. She gained recognition after participating in Mnet's SuperStar K2, finishing in eighth place. Her debut digital single, "Beautiful," featuring rapper Zico, was released on August 7, 2014, reaching number 2 on the Korean charts, earning her the Artist of the Year Award (August) at the Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards. She also received nominations for Best New Artist at the Mnet Asian Music Awards, Golden Disc Awards, and Melon Music Awards. Her second single, "Celepretty," from the EP of the same name, peaked at number 7, with the EP itself reaching number 14. In subsequent years, Park released non-album singles such as "Sorry" (2015), "Pretty Bae" (featuring Lee Hyun), and "Dynamic Love" (2016), each achieving moderate success on the charts. Her second EP, Orange Moon, released in July 2017, reached number 44, with the lead single "Why, You?" featuring Samuel Seo, making a modest entry into the top 100. On December 1, 2017, Park contributed the soundtrack song "꿈만 같아; Like A Dream" for the drama Prison Playbook, and collaborated with Basick on the single "운명처럼" (Destiny) for the Man to Man (Part 2) soundtrack. Park continued to release music, including the ballad "애쓰지 마요; Will Be Fine" on February 13, 2018, and the digital single "말려줘; Please, Stop Me" featuring Lil Boi of Geeks on April 6, 2018. In 2019, she released "Alone" with Parc Jae-jung, followed by "I Can’t" in 2020. Her return in February 2024 with "I Hope" featuring Huh Gak was followed by "보고싶다 벌써 (I Miss You)" in April. Tragically, Park passed away at the age of 30 shortly on April 11, after collapsing at a friend’s home. Following her passing, her 2017 single "운명처럼" (Destiny) resurged on the Chinese charts, reaching number 23.
