Redfoo

As half of electro-rap duo LMFAO, Redfoo specialises in party-starting hits, taking a similarly non-conformist approach to music when he turned solo in 2012. The son of Motown Records boss Berry Gordy Jr., Redfoo (real name Stefan Kendal Gordy) grew up in Los Angeles and began performing and producing alongside school friend will.i.am and his group Black Eyed Peas in the mid 1990s. He first came to critics' attention when he produced rapper Ahmad's hit single 'Back in the Day' and crafted laid-back hip-hop tracks with Dre Kroon on his debut album 'Balance Beam' in 1997, before featuring on the Black Eyed Peas track 'Duet' on their first album 'Behind the Front'. Things really starting taking off when he united with his nephew Sky Blu in 2006 to form LMFAO, and with their infectious brand of high energy electro-pop, the duo scored US number one hits with singles 'Party Rock Anthem' and 'Sexy and I Know It' and even performed with Madonna at the 2012 Superbowl. With the group on hiatus Redfoo re-launched his solo career with the single 'Bring Out the Bottles', becoming a star in Australia when he topped their charts with 'Let's Get Ridiculous'; he also appeared as a judge on the Australian version of TV talent contest 'The X-Factor'. He founded his own clothing line, was a contestant on 'Dancing With the Stars' and featured on singles with Justin Beiber, Ice Cube and Flo Rida before his 2016 album 'Party Rock Mansion' was released full of typically wacky, wild, electrifying pop anthems and included guest appearances from Stevie Wonder and Dimitri Vegas.
