Sam Tompkins

Born in Sussex, UK on April 18, 1997, alt-pop singer-songwriter Sam Tompkins started out busking on the streets of Brighton before going on to score viral hit with the collaborative single "To the Moon" in 2021. He grew up listening to a range of artists, from Ray Charles and Justin Timberlake to Ed Sheeran, and began posting his music online via social media. In 2017, he unleashed a string of singles, including "Same Page", "MKIN LUV" and "Control", and gained attention for his 2017 EP Colored Emotions. The following year, he dropped another raft of singles, including "Wife You", "Strangers" and "Tears Beneath My Eyelids", as well as a second EP, From My Sleeve to the World, which featured a notable collaboration with Jaykae, “Faded”. More singles arrived in 2020, among these the COVD-themed maxi-single "Isolation Diaries" before 2021 marked an appearance on JNR Choi's viral single "To The Moon". Packed full of catchy hooks and honest songwriting, 2022 saw the release of a new EP, Who Do You Pray To?.
