Sandy e Junior

Singer Sandy Leah Lima and singer/guitarist Durval de Lima Junior are siblings whose father is Xororó of Durval de Lima of the Brazilian sertaneja act Chitaozinho & Xororó with his brother José Lima Sobrinho. As Sandy & Junior, they began performing as children and gained widespread popularity as teenagers with albums including 'Era Uma Vez - Ao Vivo' (1998), 'As Quatro EstaçSes' (1999), 'Quatro EstaçSes: O Show' (2000) and 'Sandy & Junior' (2001), on which they sang in Spanish. They had a popular weekly television show and toured widely but in 2007 they announced that after the release of album 'Acústico MTV' they planned to quit with Sandy pursuing a solo career and Junior working as a record producer. They linked up again in 2019 for a 30th anniversary tour of Brazil.
