Shruti Pathak

Born on October 27, 1982 in Ahmedabad, Gujurat, Shruti Pathak is a Filmfare Award-nominated Indian playback singer and lyricist working predominantly in the Hindi music industry. She began her singing career in the early '00s, making herself known on the "Leke Pehla Pehla Pyaar" song for the Baby Doll series in 2004, and was the lyricist and singer behind 2009's "Payaliya" for the Indian Hindi-language black comedy Dev.D, also going on to write "Shubhaaramabh" for Amit Trivedi in 2013. She has since put her voice to a string of popular Hindi film songs, including 2008's "Awaara Dil," 2009's "Jee Le" for Hindi action-thriller Luck, 2018's "Soniye Dil Nayi" for Baaghi 2, "Lag Ja Gale," "Dil Duffer," "Rasiya," "Tooh," and many others.
