Sreerama Chandra

Sreerama Chandra Mynampati (January 19, 1986), better known as Sreerama Chandra, is an Indian playback singer and actor from Addanki in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Despite not coming from a musical background, he developed an interest in performing during his high school days and studied Carnatic singing at Sri Bhakta Ramadasa Music College. After participating in the ETV singing competition Sye, he was discovered by Telugu film music director Mickey J Meyer, who helped him make his debut in the 2007 film Notebook with the song "Chirugaalulato." In 2010, Sreerama Chandra won the reality show Indian Idol 5 and released his debut Hindi album, Rehnuma, later that year. A second LP titled Crazy Love saw the light in 2013, followed by his first foray into acting in the Telugu biographical film Jagadguru Adi Shankara. In 2014, he landed his first lead role as Ram in the film Prema Geema Jaantha Nai. Over the next few years, Sreerama Chandra featured on the soundtrack of over 40 films in both Telugu and Hindi, with songs like "Haal-E-Dil Male" from Sanam Teri Kasam (2016), "Allah Duhai Hai" from Race 3 (2018), and "Anaganaganaga" from Oh, Baby (2019). In 2022, he contributed vocals to the track "Private Party," which entered the Malaysian Top 10 at Number 6 and appeared in the soundtrack of the Telugu coming-of-age story Don.
