Suh Young Eun

Seo Young-eun is a pop singer hailing from South Korea. Born in Seoul in 1973, Young-eun studied biology at a Catholic university but eschewed the sciences in favour of a career in music. She dabbled in performing jazz vocals but got her break with the release of her 1998 pop album 'Softly Whispering 'I Love U''. Despite her Catholic education, Young-eun is protestant and has contributed to a number of contemporary Christian albums including 'My Lord, Jehovah'. In 2006 Young-eun married designer Kim Jin-oh and in 2012 the couple had their first child. Following 'Softly Whispering 'I Love U'' Young-eun's albums have included 'Up Rain' (1999); 'Kiss of Breeze' (2002); 'Gift' (2004); 'Sunny Side of My Heart' (2005); 'Be My Sweetheart' (2006); 'Happily Ever After' (2007); and 'Rainbow' (2008). She has also appeared on a number of television soundtracks.
