SWIDT

Formed in 2010 in Onehunga, New Zealand, SWIDT – an acronym for See What I Did There? – is a New Zealand Music Award-winning hip-hop collective. The group was founded by SmokeyGotBeatz, SPYCC & INF, JAMAL, Boomer, and AZA, all of whom came from different hip-hop groups. The group came to prominence when SmokeyGotBeatz released his album SWIDT vs Everybody in 2016. The album ended up on the New Zealand Herald’s 20 Best Albums of 2016 list. SWIDT received nominations at the New Zealand Music Awards in 2016 for Critics Choice Award and Best Urban / Hip-Hop Album. The group released their official debut album, Stoneyhunga, in 2017. It climbed to Number 4 on the New Zealand Albums chart. Stoneyhunga – which features the tracks “Little Did She Know”, “Kelz Garage (Interlude)”, and “All Night” - was honored with many awards, nominations, and critical raves.
