Born in Charleston, South Carolina, soul vocalist Tami Davis has been linked to mid-‘90s R&B trio BlackGirl but she does not appear on their sole 1994 album, Treat U Right. Davis released her debut album, Only You, in 1998. The album’s first single, “How Do I Say I’m Sorry”, reached Number 63 on the Billboard R&B Singles chart. The album did not chart, nor did the two follow-up singles: “Only You” and “Serve Me Right”.
