Terence Siufay

Xu Zhiyong (July 13, 1976), aka Terence Siufay, is a singer-songwriter and actor from Macau. He rose to prominence as one of the founding members of the pop group C-Plus alongside classmate and friend Chung Chulin. Terence Siufay stayed with the group for almost a decade and then embarked on a highly successful solo career, starting in 2007 with The First Album of Siufay. Released via Gold Typhoon Records, the LP helped establish Terence Siufay as one of the leading exponents of Cantopop and included the Kary Ng duet “逼得寵物太緊,” which earned him a silver award at the JSG Awards. He followed up in 2009 with Festival Traveler and then a live EP titled Evening Concert saw the light in 2011. After switching labels to Sun Entertainment Culture, Terence Siufay dropped the EP Little Singer in 2013 and another one under the name Still Small the following year. In subsequent years, he mainly devoted himself to acting, starring in films such as From Vegas to Macau III (2016) and Sisterhood (2017) before resuming his music career in 2018 with the full-length Before Going to Bed. The compilation Siufay Modern Classic 2010 – 2020 was issued in 2020 and included some of his biggest hits.
