The Screaming Jets

Hard rock heroes The Screaming Jets earned their place at the top table of Australian live acts through an unbeatable concoction of high-octane tunes and boisterous performances. Hailing from the industrial town of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, the band was formed by high schoolers Dave Gleeson (vocals) and Grant Walmsley (guitar) who added Paul Woseen (bass guitar) Richard Lara (guitar) and Brad Heaney to conceive The Screaming Jets in 1989. After relocating to Sydney in 1990 they began their trajectory, launching their debut EP, The Scorching Adventures of the Screaming Jets, that year. In 1991, they released their debut studio album, All for One, which made it to Number 2 on the ARIA Charts. They relocated to the UK and released their second studio album, Tear of Thought (1992), which peaked at Number 3, followed by their full-length effort, The Screaming Jets, (1995) which peaked at Number 5. Another five well-received studio albums followed, including 2018's Gotcha Covered, a 15-track collection of Australian cover songs, as well as three compilation albums. In August 2021, The Screaming Jets released a re-recorded version of their debut album All for One, to mark its 30th anniversary.
