WRS

Andrei-Ionuț Ursu (January 16, 1993), better known by his stage name WRS, is a Romanian dancer and electropop singer. Born in the city of Buzău, he began dancing at the age of 12 encouraged by his parents, both of whom were folk music dancers. After a brief stint in the boy band Shot, WRS relocated to London and began honing his songwriting skills. "Why," his debut single, appeared in 2020. Following a series of titles that fared reasonably well in the Romanian charts, he released his breakout single "Llámame" (2022), which was chosen as the country's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest after reaching Number 3 on the domestic charts. Originally included in his debut EP Mandala, "Llámame" finished in the eighteenth place and even charted in Spain, peaking at Number 91.
