The Tragically Hip: DNA

Overview

Aired It really can’t be understated how important the Tragically Hip was, and still is, to the landscape of Canadian music. When the Tragically Hip came along, they single-handedly revived a stale Canadian music scene, and combined a mix of rock, folk, blues and country to create a sound that was truly unique to them. Combine that with a legendary live show, and you have a band that inspired legions of intensely loyal fans for the last quarter-century. That’s why Paul Langlois, Rob Baker, Gord Sinclair, Johnny Fay and the late Gord Downie are collectively nicknamed “Canada’s House Band.”
