Chō Tokimeki Sendenbu

Tokimeki Sendenbu are a Japanese girl idol group working under Section 3 of the Stardust talent agency. They were formed in 2015 with an initial lineup consisting of Kanami Tsujino, Mako Nagasaka, Hitoka Sakai, Haruka Koizumi and Hiyori Yoshikawa. They made their television debut on 'Shiritsu Kagayaki Jogakuen SEASON 2', and their first indie label single, 'Dokkyun!! Shojo' launched on June 24th that year. It was a solid start, reaching number 13 in the Japanese Oricon Singles Chart. The follow-ups 'Kisetsu Hazure no Tokimeki Summer' and 'Muteki no Uta' repeated the trick, charting at eight and four respectively. Their indie label success led to a major label signing with Universal Sigma and more singles chart success followed, with 'Gamba!!' charting at 13, 'Do Do Do Do Dreamer' making number seven and 'Deadheat' peaking at number five. March 2017 marked the first change to the group's lineup, with Mako Nagasaka making her departure. Bambi Fujimoto and Sala Odaka stepped in, though Sala left the following year and was replaced by Julia Ann. In April 2018 Tokimeki Sendenbu released their first full-length album, 'Toki Otome', landing in the Oricon top ten. A label switch to Avex followed, and 'Tokimeki Sendenbu VICTORY STORY' provided the group with their biggest chart hit to date, hitting number three.
