Negicco

Negicco is a Japanese female idol group that was formed in July 2003 in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. Originally consisting of Megu, Nao☆, Kaede, and Miku, they officially debuted the following year with the single "Koi Suru Negikko." However, despite several subsequent releases, their songs did not manage to break into the Japanese charts. In 2006, the group underwent its first change when Miku left and was replaced by Misaki. Misaki remained with Negicco for two years before departing, leaving the group as a trio with Megu, Nao☆, and Kaede from 2008 onward. During the years 2009 to 2011, Negicco released three mini-albums: Anosorahe in 2009, Plastic☆Star in 2010, and Get It On! in 2011. Their breakthrough came in 2013 when they released their first full-length album, Melody Palette with success firmly establishing them in the Japanese pop scene, leading to subsequent releases like Rice & Snow in 2015, Tea For Three in 2016, and My Color in 2018. Making a comeback in 2023, Negicco released their fifth album, Perfect Sense, which landed at number 80 on the Japanese charts.
