Dante Bowe

Christian worship artist Dante Bowe was born in Rockingham, North Carolina, on May 10, 1993. His childhood was marked by several hardships that led him to convert to Christianity at age 16, after which he dropped out of high school and began working as a worship leader. Shortly after making his official debut with the single “Potter and Friend,” he self-released the album Son of a Father in 2017. Two years later, Dante Bowe signed with Bethel Music and joined the label’s collective, making his first appearance on 2019’s “Champion” from the LP Revival’s in the Air. Following a series of well-received standalone singles, his sophomore effort Circles appeared in 2021 and cracked the Top 10 of the Christian charts in the US. This was mostly thanks to the success of the single “Joyful,” which in turn reached Number 3 on the Hot Gospel Songs chart and won Contemporary Gospel Recorded Song of the Year at the GMA Dove Awards. Later that year, Dante Bowe scored his first Number 1 on the Hot Gospel Songs chart through the single “Wait on You,” recorded in collaboration with Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music. In 2022, after embarking on his first headlining tour of the US with Aaron Moses and Aodhan King, Dante Bowe featured on the Crowder single “God Really Loves Us,” which peaked at Number 45 on Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart.
