Gambi

Gambi (born on January 12, 1998) is a French rapper and model who rose to fame for his 2019 hit “C'est moi Mbappé,” a heartfelt homage to Gallic football player Kylian Mbappé that accumulated over a million views on the MC’s YouTube channel. While still working as a sushi delivery man, Gambi kicked off his music career via his Makak YouTube series in 2018. These garnered the attention of record label Rec. 118, who quickly signed him to their roster. Following the success of “Le Guenav,” “Hess,” and “Oulalah” in 2019, the singles “Hé oh” and “Popopop” both topped France’s SNEP chart and were certified platinum shortly after. Soon enough, Gambi was collaborating with the crème de la crème of French hip-hop and modelling for AfterHomeWork at Paris Fashion Week. All the buzz surrounding the MC culminated in La Vie Est Belle (2020), an impressive debut that reached the top of the French and Belgian charts aided by the singles “MacIntosh” and “Puff Puff Puff.”
