Lucki

Lucki Camel Jr. (May 30, 1996), mononymously known as Lucki, is an American rapper from Chicago, Illinois. Hailing from the Windy City's West Side, he grew up on a steady diet of hip-hop and R&B, citing artists like Erykah Badu, Prince, and The Notorious B.I.G. as some of his early influences. After picking up the mic during his teenage years, he decided to drop out of high school to pursue a career in music and made his recording debut under the name Lucki Eck$ in 2012 with the single "Untouchable Lucki." The Chicago native followed up in 2013 with his critically acclaimed debut mixtape Alternative Trap, whose production credits included Plu20 Nash, Nate Fox, and Clams Casino. In 2014, the prolific MC collaborated with FKA Twigs, Danny Brown, and Chance the Rapper, unveiling a second mixtape titled Body High. This fast-paced work ethos carried over to the next year when he dropped his third mixtape X, followed by the first installment of his Freewave series. Released shortly after shortening his stage name to Lucki, the EP Son of Sam appeared in March 2016 and the sequel Freewave 2 hit retail later that year. His highly anticipated studio debut, Freewave 3, finally saw the light in 2019. Featuring guest spots by Future and Babyface Ray, his studio debut, Flawless Like Me, came out in 2022 and peaked at Number 2 on the Billboard 200. Following an appearance on Trippie Redd's 2023 single "Die Die," Lucki began teasing his third studio effort with the track "No Bap." The album, titled S*x M*ney Dr*gs, finally arrived in July of that year, hitting Number 15 on the US pop charts.
