Radical Face

Radical Face is one of several projects undertaken by American singer-songwriter Ben Cooper along with acts such as Electric President, Mother's Basement and The Clone Project. The Florida-born artist blends folk with electronic and orchestral influences as Radical Face on albums such as his self-released recording 'The Junkyard Chandelier' in 2003. Signed by the German record label Morr Music, Radical Face had its formal debut on 'Ghost' in 2007. He then began a series of releases that tell of a fictional family from the 19th century to the present day. Of those, 'The Family Tree: The Roots' in 2011 went to number 14 on Billboard's Americana/Folk Albums Chart as did 'The Family Tree: The Branches' in 2013. 'The Family Tree: The Leaves' peaked at number eleven on that chart and number 39 on Billboard's Top Rock Albums Chart in 2016. There was also a 2015 album, 'The Family Tree: The Bastards', and several singles and music videos. In 2018, Cooper announced a series of covers starting with 'Ode to My Family' by The Cranberries and then 'The Goonies R Good Enough' by Cyndi Lauper.
