Tulsi Kumar

Tulsi Kumar - born Tulsi Kumar Dua in New Delhi, India on March 15, 1986 - is a Bollywood playback singer and radio personality. The daughter of Gulshan Kumar, the founder of Bollywood record label/music production company T-Series, Tulsi Kumar began her singing career in 2006 as a playback singer, providing vocals for backing tracks in many Bollywood productions. In her first two years, she recorded over two dozen tracks Bollywood favorites including “Tere Sang Ishq” (2006), “Tadad Tadap” (2007) and “Let’s Rock Soniye.” Tulsi Kumar released her debut album, Love Ho Jaaye, in 2009. Over the course of her career, she has remained one of the busiest playback singers in Bollywood, collaborating with many artists including Himesh Reshammiya, Pritam, Mithoon, Jeet Ganguly, and Arko Pravo Mukherjee. Some of her most popular songs include “Tera Ban Jaunga” with Akhil Sachdeva (2019) and “Masakali 2.0” (2020). In May 2020, during the pandemic and lockdown, Tulsi Kumar released “Tere Naal,” a duet with Darshan Raval. Further singles in 2020 included “Naam” (with Millind Gaba) and “Tanhaaj” (with Zain Imam). In February 2021, Tulsi Kumar began hosting Season 2 of radio show Indie Hain Hum.
