The DUST'N'BONEZ

The DUST'N'BONEZ are a hard rock band from Tokyo, Japan, where the group formed in 2004. Co-founders Morishige Juichi and Toshiro Norio previously played together in the band ZIGGY, while guitarist Sakashita Taketomo and drummer Mitsuzono Eiji were both former members of SADS. Together, the bandmates made their live debut on March 17, 2004, and released the independent debut album Flame Skull Bastards later that same year. The DUST'N'BONEZ signed a record deal with Tokuma Japan and released a new album, Rock'n'Roll Circus, in 2006, this time with the backing of their major label. The subsequent albums Cocksucker Blues and Dust & Bones were released in 2008 and 2010, respectively, with The DUST'N'BONEZ solidifying their space in Japan's hard rock community. Morishige Juichi left the lineup in January 2011, though, and the band lapsed into inactivity in his absence, eventually embarking upon an indefinite hiatus. As the decade inched toward its close, The DUST'N'BONEZ reunited, this time with nao — vocalist and drummer of the Japanese band Swing Dolls — replacing Juichi as lead vocalist. Search and Destroy, the first album from this revised version of the band, was released in May 2022 and reached Number 47 on the Billboard Japan Albums chart.
